People who say go to Hot Topic to find Gothic Lolita clothing?
Every time someone posts a question about where they can buy Gothic Lolita clothing, a bunch of people say “Hot topic.” Do they do this because Hot Topic actually sells gothic lolita stuff? (If the answer is yes, send me a link/ picture of the outfit) Or do they simply ignore the lolita in Gothic Lolita and assume that the asker was talking about gothic clothing (which they weren’t)
Middleman…. that really didn't help at all
Honestly, if I see another question answered with Hot Topic I might shrivel up and die. It’s just like yes yes we’re all aware of Hot Topic.. if anyone asks where to buy emo clothes and doesn’t know that Hot Topic exists probably shouldn’t be allowed to shop there anyway. Lolita is heaps harder to find, but check out www.Sinister.nl it’s not completely Japanese lolita, but they have some cool stuff that is bordering on lolita.. lace and tuille dresses and that sort of stuff.

I still wake up every morning quarter to ten
I still eat my cereal right at the kitchen table
I can’t even remember how long it’s been
No trouble stayin’ occupied

I think they say Hot Topic because they don't know what it is
It's not popular like emo or prep so they just think it's gothic

Hot Topic has sold some things that people new to the fashion THINK work with lolita but it just doesn't. For example.. anything they sell with lace on it. :\ Also, what Robo said.

I think it’s because Lolita is a “Hot Topic.”
